Founded in 1966 and still run by the Wegmüller family, Chantemerle welcomes students aged 6 to 18 across two complementary campuses in Blonay and Vevey, above Lake Geneva. The school is built on a family model: small cohorts, continuous supervision, and a balance between study, sport and outdoor life.
It is one of the few Swiss boarding schools where the atmosphere is genuinely family-run: boarders live alongside the founding family and an education team present 24/7, in a structured setting grounded in simplicity, well-being and a culture of effort.

Typical additional costs
- Non-refundable deposit: CHF 1,600 (admission CHF 400, school material CHF 600, uniforms CHF 300, cultural package CHF 300).
- Provisional deposit for personal expenses: insurance, private lessons (ski, piano, music), exam fees, study trips, excursions.
- School shuttle: CHF 550 per term. Geneva airport transfer: CHF 200 per trip.
- Ski pack (rental, instructors, lift passes, transport), local sports club, extra uniforms.
- Advanced gymnasium-entry preparation: CHF 2,000.
